Our Mission
“”Our Mission”” is to have every person care for one fur baby, be it monetarily, physically or by volunteering. We can save them from abuse, neglect & being killed or at least give all we have. We will connect with as many organizations & people as humanly possible to save the ones that are up for adoption or fostering. We may be the only voice these four-legged babies ever have. Our work is tough but at the same time what we go through in pets' lives is worth thinking about superhero story ideas.
Pat : is a retired, over the road trucker lady. (Animal Rights Activist, Cross-poster, Transporter, Foster Momma & Animal Lover). She has transported fur babies from the West Coast to the East Coast in her eighteen wheeler. For health reasons, Pat can no longer drive eighteen wheelers and decided to do something else she loves.
Ronnie: Is Pat's husband, best friend and animal loving partner. With many miles of driving under his belt and lots of experience (Thanks to Pat) with fur babies!
Medical exams and Rabies are required for state crossing, it is the responsibility of the organizing Rescue to see this is done or accept the responsibility of any & all fines and /or delay costs!
GIFTS ARE WELCOMED AND VERY MUCH APPRECIATED & NEEDED!
We are not a Business for Hire.
We transport from Shelters to Rescue's, foster and forever homes, and enlisted personnel being transferred within the US having someone watch their fur baby while on deployment oversea's.

Please pass this on to Rescues and Shelters that you know. We would appreciate it and so would the Fur Babies!

How Our Wheels Got Turning~Our Beginning
It was around late fall of 2012 when Pat, the founder of Wheels 4 Paws, became inspired by Keith Royer of Keith’s Rescue Transports. Following him on Facebook, she could only imagine how rewarding of a feeling it must be to save innocent lives and bring joy to a family through the love of a fur baby. It just so happened that the inspiration she felt got a swift kick in the tail wagger!
Little by little, day by day, week by week, all puzzle pieces began to join together and Pat formed Wheels 4 Paws 4 Forever Homes. Her road trips took her up and down the east coast and kept her quite busy. Pat never asked for money other than to cover her expenses and that was one of the founding principles of Wheels 4 Paws that we will always abide by.
Not one to rest on a day off, the rescue aspect slowly began to make its way into Pat’s thoughts. Holding true to her love of animals and wanting to save as many as possible, Pat began to foster. That turned into a new passion and before anyone knew it, Pat began to rescue directly from the shelters, keeping everyone safe with her until they could be placed with a rescue or adopter.
An organization like this needs some extra paws on hand to make it successful.
